GET ON
Position the wheelchair at the curb to be crossed. Balance the wheelchair on the rear whe-
els, in order to lift the front wheels, enough to lean them on the obstacle. Bend your trunk
forward and vigorously push the handrail. Continue pushing until the rear wheels are climbing
over the obstacle.
GET OFF
To get off the stair follow the reverse procedure, positioning the rear side of the wheelchair
at the curb, keep the handrails vigorously and get off the obstacle slowly; then balance the
wheelchair on the rear wheels in order to complete the descent.
- Use the armrest
The armrest can be adjusted in height and width:
Adjust the height - unscrew the knob for armrest lock and adjust the height
Adjust the width - unscrew the knob under the seat and adjust the width
-Use the legrest
The legrests can be adjusted in length, inclination, width and depth:
Adjust the length - Unscrew the knob on the legrests frame. Adjust the length
of the legrests according to the patient’s needs. Lock the knob again.
Adjust the inclination - Unscrew the side knob placed at the knees
height and change the inclination. Lock the knob again
Adjust the width - You need a 6 mm allen wrench. Unscrew the screw under the seat
and adjust the width according to the patient’s needs. Lock the screw again
Adjust the depth - Unscrew both the side knobs placed under the seat, adjust the depth according
to the patient’s needs and lock the knobs again.
