Battery Safety Guidelines

WARNING: Battery is non-rechargeable.  Danger of explosion if battery (lithium cell)
is  recharged  or  incorrectly  replaced.  Replace  only  with  the  same  or  equivalent  type
recommended  by  the  manufacturer.  Dispose  of  used  batteries  according  to  the
manufacturer’s instructions.

Replacement of the lithium cell is to be carried out by qualified (service) personnel only. The battery on the
Director is provided to maintain the on-board real-time clock when input power is removed.
