Signal Interface to 9 way ‘D’ type connectors 

The DS4 has optional rear plates that provide four 9-way 'D' type connectors (DB-9) which may plug directly 
into the 50-way termination on the AIM104-COM4. 
 
The pin-out of the DB-9 serial interface is presented as follows:
