Trigger output
TRIGGER OUT
allows the A49 to control the
power state of any connected equipment,
such as a P49/P349 power amplifier. In
normal use there is no need to make any
connections to these outputs.
Phones
3.5mm stereo jack socket,
intended for use with a set of
headphones. See page 11 for
more information.
Speaker terminals
The A49 is equipped with two
pairs of speaker terminals. See
page 15 for information on
connecting loudspeakers.
Phono earth terminal
For connecting your turntable
earth lead, if required.
Note that this terminal must
not be used as a safety earth.
Accessory power
6V 3.5mm mono jack socket for accessory cable
(supplied). Cable provides two 2.1mm DC jacks
to power 6V r series accessories.
12V 2.5mm DC jack socket for accessory cable
(supplied). Cable provides a 2.5mm DC jack to
power 12V r series accessories.
Pre-amplifier output
PRE OUT
provides the pre-amp output for
use in a bi-amplified system (for example,
with a P49/P349 power amplifier). See
page 11 for more information.
Audio inputs

component has unbalanced outputs,
