2.4  LOCAL USER INTERFACE 

This section describes the user interface used during local operation of the amplifier as it pertains to the control 

system. 

2.4.1 

Menu Map 

Below is a menu map for the amplifier.  The screens depicted are only example screens.  The actual values and 

settings will be different on the actual amplifier depending on user settings and operating conditions. 

 

2.4.2 

Main Menu Screen 

The Main Menu screen is only available when the Local/Remote switch is in the LOCAL position.  At the top 

of the screen is the RF Gain value in the form of a blue bar graph and associated blue numeric value. 

 

The RF state is shown in bold lettering which can be either Off or On. 

The menu options available from the main menu are 

User

, and 

RF On/Off

.  Pressing 

User

 brings up the User 

screen and menu.  Pressing 

RF On/Off

 enables or disables the RF path through the amplifier.  Pressing 

RF On

, 

causes the amplifier to go to an RF On state.
