2.2.1.5 Menu Map
Figure 2-3 shows the menu map for the 125S1G2z5. The screens depicted are only example screens. The
actual values and settings will be different on the actual amplifier depending on user settings and operating
conditions.

2.3 LOCAL OPERATION
2.3.1 Power-up Sequence
1. Connect the input signal to the unit’s RF INPUT connector. The input signal level should be 0dBm
maximum.
2. Connect the load to the unit’s RF OUTPUT connector.
3. Set the REMOTE/LOCAL switch to LOCAL.
4. Check to see that the MAIN POWER switch on the unit’s rear panel is set to the (on) position.
5. Press the POWER switch.
6. Place the unit in the Operate mode by pressing the RF ON/OFF touch screen button.
7. Adjust the amplifier’s gain by pressing the Select button on the Main Menu, then the RF Gain button in
the subsequent menu. Adjust the value using the Adjust knob rotating the ADJUST knob.
8. In the event of a fault, press the RESET touch screen button; if the fault does not clear, refer to
Section 4.3 Troubleshooting of this manual.
