FILTER MANIFOLD

Always mount the filter manifold in horizontal position,
with the filter cartridge(s) pointing vertically downwards.

Attach the filter manifold against a solid surface only
(f.e. wooden panel of kitchen cabinet), using the included
mounting screws.

Make sure there is sufficient clearance left/right and
top/bottom, to connect the polytubes and for the
replacement of the filter cartridge(s).


1. Select an appropriate location under the sink for the
installation of the appliance.
2. Mark the correct position of the mounting screws; predrill
the holes.
3. Install the mounting screws; do not tighten them
completely, but leave ±5 mm space between the head of
the screw and the mounting surface.
4. Make sure that the filter cartridge interface(s) in the filter
manifold are in the unlocked

position; if necessary,
manually rotate the interface(s) counter clockwise to the
unlocked

position.
5. Align the 2 slotted holes in the filter manifold with the 2
mounting screws and slip the filter manifold over the 2
mounting screws.
WATER SUPPLY

A male/female T-adaptor with ½” BSP thread is supplied
with the appliance for the connection to the cold water
supply inside the house; the threaded connection on the cold
water supply line in the house should therefore be ½” BSP
also.

The filter manifold is equipped with integrated
automatic shut off valve(s) to shut off the water supply when
a filter cartridge is removed from the filter manifold.
Nevertheless, it is recommended to install the T-adaptor
after a stop valve, so the water supply to the appliance can
be shut off whenever necessary (in case of a leakage,
maintenance, longer period of non-use, etc). The most
convenient installation location for the T-adaptor is
immediately after the existing stop valve in the cold water
supply line of the kitchen faucet.

Make sure to shut off the water supply to the place of
installation, before you start any plumbing work.


1. Remove the connection of the kitchen faucet from the
outlet of the existing stop valve.
2. Screw the T-adaptor to the outlet of the stop valve; make
sure the gasket seal is in place. Tighten it firmly.
3. Install the connection of the kitchen faucet to the
threaded connection of the T-adaptor.
DRINKING WATER FAUCET

Install the faucet on a flat surface to assure solid
installation and adequate sealing between the faucet and
the counter top.

Use the appropriate tools and procedures to make the
hole in the counter top. If necessary, call upon a professional
for assistance.

Make sure the faucet does not hinder the correct
functioning of any other ‘device’ above the counter top (f.e.
kitchen faucet, side hung window,…).

Make sure there is sufficient clearance under the counter
top, to allow for easy installation of the faucet.


PREPARING THE DRINKING WATER FAUCET
1.
Install the mounting nut (on Premium faucet: with
washer) on the threaded stem of the drinking water
faucet and turn the mounting nut halfway the threaded
stem.
2. On one end of the polytube, slide the compression hex
nut and compression washer over the polytube.
3. Insert the reinforcement insert in the end of the polytube.
4. Insert the end of the polytube in the threaded stem of the
faucet; make sure to push the polytube in all the way.
5. Slide the compression washer and hex nut against the
threaded stem and screw the compression hex nut onto
the threaded stem; tighten the compression hex nut
firmly; gently pull on the polytube to verify it is secured.
INSTALLING THE DRINKING WATER FAUCET
1.
Select an appropriate location on the counter top for the
installation of the drinking water faucet.
2. Drill a hole with diameter 30 mm / 1 ⅛” in the counter
top.
3. Make sure the seal between the faucet and the counter
top is properly positioned in the base of the faucet; first
insert the polyube and then the threaded stem of the
faucet through the hole in the counter top.
4. From underneath the counter top, slide the slotted
washer over the threaded stem, between the bottom side
of the counter top and the washer/mounting nut.
5. Tighten the mounting nut firmly.
