TUBING CONNECTIONS
While the polytubes may be shortened, make sure to
allow enough slack in the tubing for easy installation and
removal of the filter housing unit.
If the polytube needs to be shortened, make sure to cut
it squarely, using a cutter or sharp knife; always inspect the
end of the polytube to make sure there are no
imperfections; remove any blur or flash, or cut again if
necessary.
When bending the polytube, make sure not to over-
bend, as this may result in pinching-off and/or leaking
connections.
COLD WATER SUPPLY TO WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM
(WHITE POLYTUBE - ⅜”)
1.
Insert one end of the polytube in the Push-Fit
connection of the water supply adaptor; make sure to
push it in all the way; slightly pull on the polytube to
verify the engagement.
2.
Insert the other end of the polytube in the Push-Fit
connection at the inlet of the water filtration system;
make sure to push it in all the way; slightly pull on the
polytube to verify the engagement.

FAUCET
(BLUE POLYTUBE - ¼”)
1.
Insert the polytube, that is attached to the faucet, in the
Push-Fit connection at the outlet of the water filtration
system; make sure to push it in all the way; slightly pull
on the polytube to verify the engagement.
FILTER CARTRIDGE(S)
Remove the plastic protective film from the filter
cartridge before installing it in the water filtration system.
Once the plastic protective film is removed from the
filter cartridge, we recommend to install the filter cartridge
in the water filtration system as soon as possible, to avoid
accidental damage or contamination of the filter cartridge.
Filter cartridges with a central opening at both sides
(Double-Open-End) don’t have a specific top or bottom, so
they can be installed either way. Filter cartridges with only
1 central opening (Single-Open-End), must be installed with
the opening at the top.
For double sump systems (EFP30-Plus) only: the spun
polypropylene filter cartridge serves as pre-filter, so it must
be installed in the the filter sump closest to the inlet of the
water filtration system.

Unscrew the filter sump from the filter manifold by
rotating the filter sump to the left.
2.
Inspect the inside of the filter sump; make sure it is clean
and no impurities are present; clean and rinse
thoroughly if necessary.
3.
Insert the filter cartridge in the filter sump; make sure
the supplied gasket is properly installed at the top
(Double-Open-End and Single-Open-End) and bottom
(Double-Open-End).
4.
Verify that the filter sump o-ring is still correctly
positioned in the o-ring groove inside the top of the filter
sump.
5.
With the filter cartridge nicely centered inside the filter
sump, hold the filter sump up to the filter manifold, so
the central opening in the top of the filter cartridge is
aligned with the centering guide on the filter manifold.
6.
Screw the filter sump onto the filter manifold by rotating
the filter sump to the right; tighten it firmly by hand; the
filter sump should tighten up to the filter manifold.
