GENERAL
(WI-FI KEY CONNECTION)
At first, connect a Wi-Fi key (not included in the package) to the Aquatronica Touch Controller fitting it in the
dedicated slot on the back compartment of the device.
The Wi-Fi key must be chosen consulting the list of Aquatronica approved and compatible key brands and models.
You can find this list on the Aquatronica website, in the ACQ140 product description page.
Once connected, enter the Touch Controller Main Menu and select the ETHERNET icon. The Ethernet Menu opens and
the submenu icons appear on the left. Now select GENERAL.
Enable the WLAN interface selecting “ON” mode on the main screen and be sure that the LAN interface is OFF.
Once the WLAN interface is enabled, the button for setting the WLAN parameters appears. Now click on SETUP.
E-MAIL SETTINGS
In order to enable the Touch Controller to send emails, the user must set the parameters related to the email services
configuration.
Aquatronica suggests you to create a new email account with any chosen provider, in order to identify immediately
the emails sent by the device (GMAIL address is recommended).
The Touch Controller uses email services to send alarms, information on the status of the tank and any other general
information.
To configure the email settings enter the Main Menu, select the ETHERNET icon and click on “Email Settings” on the
left submenu.

Insert the name of the Wi-Fi net you want to connect to
(SSID) and its Password.
For an automatic configuration, set the DHCP on “ON”
mode. The Touch Controller will automatically receive from
the router the required parameters.
Expert users might decide to set the values manually by
selecting DHCP on “OFF” mode.
In this case each user must contact its own Internet
provider in order to get the correct values to input.
If the DHCP is on “ON” mode, press OK. The reloading
appears, press OK and click on the Aquatronica logo to
return back to the Home page. Wait at least 30 seconds
before performing any other operation.
After these 30 sec., enter again the SETUP menu and note
down the IP code that the router has assigned to the Touch
Controller. The Touch Controller will use this IP for the
connection to the WLAN net.
