Congratulations on purchasing our innovative MMS Water Filter! Please note this manual to ensure a quick and safe installation.
Application:
The
MMS Water Filter
may only be operated on the drinking water supply of city suppliers (cold-water)! For private wells the filter is
not suitable. The filter is also not suitable for operation on low-pressure lines (minimum 3 - 4 bar water pressure necessary!). It is usually installed in
the kitchen under the sink in standing position or lying down. It can be installed between the cold-water supply and then requires no additional tap for
the drinking water. Alternatively, it can also be connected to a separate tap (not included).

Disclaimer:
The installation is easy and fast. Nevertheless, for insurance reasons, we recommend the first installation by a craftsman or
specialist! The manufacturer is not liable for damage and consequential damage resulting from improper installation or
modification! The annual filter changes can then be done without a specialist. The triangles on top of the filter head indicate
the water flow direction
. Failure to do so may damage the filter!
The water filter is a hygiene product and cannot be taken back after unsealing or installation!

Assembly of the filter head (see overleaf sketch):
1. Mark the installation date on the filter label with month and year!
2. First, determine the flow direction of the water through the triangles in the plastic on top of the filter head.
3. The filter head is delivered pre-assembled with seals and hoses (50cm each). The backflow preventer is on the input side.
4. The filter is usually hooked under the sink on one side of the base cabinet with the help of the wall bracket to the supplied two large 4.5 x 20mm
screws.
Disassembly of the filter head due to the wall bracket is not necessary!
5. Remove protective cap and clean seals.
6. Rub in the cartridge's two O-rings with a few drops of cooking oil (no olive oil!).
7. Place the filter head on the cartridge (corresponding to the recesses in the filter head) and press down.
8. Both black pins of the filter head must be the same distance from the cartridge.
9. Firmly screw the cartridge into the filter head in the direction of the green arrow.
Now the filter is prepared to be used in the cold water run.
10. Turn off the tap of the cold-water connection on the wall so that there is no pressure on the line.
11. Remove the previous hose to the cold water of the mixer tap / faucet and screw and tighten the inlet hose of our filter.
12. Now screw the free hose of the mixer tap / faucet onto the outlet hose of our filter.
13. Turn on the tap of the cold-water connection on the wall again and after a short leak test (if necessary, tighten connections slightly) let the cold
water run for approx. 3 minutes (flushing the filter). FINISHED!
Attention
: The
MMS-Water-Filter
requires regular periodical maintenance! To ensure a consistent drinking water quality, the filter cartridge should
be changed every 12 months or after 11,200 liters (which is more likely to happen). The stated capacity and capacity depend on the water quality and
the local water pressure and can vary. Coarsely contaminated water may require a 5 micron prefilter (sanitary retailer). When the flow has dropped
sharply, the end of the filter capacity is reached, and a change of the cartridge is necessary. The old cartouche can be disposed of with household
waste.
