The pump starts up at a water depth of 30 mm.
Intended use
Only use the product described in this manual as follows:
• For pumping water from pool covers.
•
For operation with clean water.
•
Operate the product in compliance with the technical data. (→ Technical data)
The following restrictions apply to the unit:
• Never use the unit with fluids other than water.
•
Never run the unit without water.
•
Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.
• Do not use in conjunction with chemicals, foodstuff, easily flammable or explosive substances.
Installation and connection
How to proceed:

1. Insert the foam filter into the filter holder.
2. Fasten the unit feet to the filter holder.
3. Screw the hose connector with flat seal onto the outlet and connect the hose.
4. Place the pump into the water on the pool cover.
Commissioning/start-up
W A R N I N G
Severe injuries or death due to operation of this unit in a swimming pond. Defective electrical components will
electrify the water with dangerous electrical voltage.
• Only operate the pump if no persons are in the water.
N O T E
Running the pump dry increases the wear of the impeller unit.
• Switch off the pump as soon as it has pumped the water from the cover.
•
Switching on: Plug the power plug into the outlet.
– The unit switches on immediately.
• Switching off: Pull the power plug from the outlet.
