Other Maintenance:
Replace the ballast
(all models):
•
Turn off or unplug pump.
•
Unplug UV ballast.
•
Remove both rubber end plugs from UV sterilizer by light pulling on the ballast cord.
•
Disconnect ballast and lamp socket from UV lamp.
•
Install new ballast with rubber end plugs and lamp sockets.
•
Turn on or plug in pump.
•
Plug UV ballast into its outlet.
•
After a few seconds, the view port should glow with a blue color.
