Fitting the charcoal filter (Part number ST1)
If the appliance is going to be used in recirculation mode then it is necessary to fit
charcoal filter (ST1). This will help to absorb unpleasant odors caused by cooking.
IMPORTANT:
BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO FIT OR REMOVE THE CHARCOAL FILTERS, YOU
MUST ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE DISCONNECTED THE RANGEHOOD FROM YOUR
MAINS SUPPLY.
1.
Remove the grease filter as shown on below.
2.
Hook the charcoal filter over the pins that are located at the end of the motor.
3.
Turn the charcoal filter anticlockwise, until you feel it click into place.
4.
Repeat this process for the second charcoal filter. You need to place a
charcoal filter at either end of the motor.
5.
Refit the grease filters.
6.
The charcoal filters should be replaced every three months or if they show
signs of damage.
7.
If replacing existing charcoal filters, remove them by twisting in anticlockwise
direction until they unlatch from the sides of the motor.
