With one hand holding the adjustable cap, pull back the lancing device
with your other hand until your hear a click sound. The lancing device is
now ready for blood sampling.

IMPORTANT:

• Use a new sterile lancet every time you test to avoid cross contamination. If alcohol wipes

are used to cleanse the fingers, make sure the area is dry before the blood sample is ob-
tained.

• The lancets are for single used only. Do not reuse lancet.
