Warning: This option cannot be paused or cancelled and it will permanently
erase all recordings on the disc.

When Finalization and Erasing begin, all REC functions are locked. Please do
not turn off the power or the recording will be permanently lost.

Note:
The “Protect Disc” option will become “Unprotect Disc” when a protected disc is
detected.

Once the Disc is Protected, the “Erase“ and “Make Compatible” function will
become disabled and you will not be able to record on this disc until you
“Unprotect” the disc.
