Hydraulic Impact Hammer Overview

Hammer Frame

The APE Dash 5 is a variable stroke, hydraulically-operated and controlled pile driver. In addition, the hammer

can be used for soil compaction, installing well casings and testing piers.

The Dash 5 operates in a range of approximately 35 to 60 cycles per minute depending on the hydraulic flow

and desired stroke.

The four major parts to

the Dash 4 are as follows:
