GETTING ACQUAINTED

  Antenna

  Channel Selector Knob

3

  Power / Volume Knob

     Rotate it clockwise to turn on the transceiver, rotate it counterclockwise until you hear the "click" to turn   

     off the transceiver.

    When the transceiver is powered on, turn the knob clockwise to increase volume, or turn the knob 

counterclockwise to reduce the volume.

  Emergency Alarm

Hold 3 seconds to activate the alarm, cycle the radio's power to turn off Alarm.

  TX/RX indicator, RX is GREEN (Upper Band) or BLUE (Lower Band), TX is RED, Tone Received is

      PURPLE.

  LCD display

     Displays current frequency/channel and operations

  Keypad

Enters desired frequency/channel or operations by keypad

  PTT key

Press PTT key to talk, release this key to receive.
