of air through the condenser is not obstructed.
7. Protect the pump from direct sunlight, rain and snow, but do
not interfere with its ventilation.
8. Protect the pump from explosive or corrosive gas and grease.
NOTE:
The pump must not be tilted more than 20°.
PIPEING DIAGRAM
Operation with heating
Open valve A and adjust valve C until there is a difference in the
temperature of the inlet and outlet water of 2°C.
Operation without heating
Open valve A and C all the way so that the water only circulates
through the filter (E).
Disinfection
Close valve A and open valve B so that the water circulates
through the chlorinate unit (D).
Heat insulation
The hot water pipes should be insulated to minimise the
consumption of energy and to comply with the requirements in
the applicable standards.
FIG. 3
NOTE:
The flow of water through the pump must not be less than
80% of the rated flow.
INSTALLATION OF DRAINAGE
Fit the drain connection as shown in the diagram. In areas with a
risk of frost (temperature below 0°C) the drain connection should
not be used because it can get blocked by ice.
FIG. 4
INSTALLATION OF WATER PIPE
1. Unscrew the cap on the water coupling with a spanner.
FIG. 5
2. Wind thread tape on the couplings for the water inlet and
outlet.
FIG. 6
3. Screw on the couplings for the water inlet and outlet on the
pump.
FIG. 7
NOTE:
The pump must not be tilted more than 20°.
4. Apply glue on the outer 30 mm of the prepared ends of the
water pipe.
FIG. 8
5. Insert the glued end of the pipe about 28 mm into the
sleeve in the bush coupling.
FIG. 9
FIG. 10
6. Align the pipe to the coupling on the pump and thread on
and tighten the bush nut. Thread tape is not necessary as
the coupling has an O-ring.
FIG. 11
FIG. 12
FIG. 13
7. This completes the installation.
NOTE:
The pool water must always be led through a filter system
before it comes into the heat pump. Impurities that are not
filtered can cause malfunctioning and can damage or block the
heat exchanger.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
1. The electrical installation must be carried out in accordance
with the wiring diagram in the junction box on the pump.
2. The pump must be earthed to the earth terminal in the
junction box.
3. Unscrew the 4 screws on the right hand front panel and lift
off the front panel.
FIG. 14
4. Remove the inner metal lid from the junction box.
FIG. 15
5. Take off the stress reliever.
FIG. 16
6. Insert the cable through the outer grommet in the pump
casing.
FIG. 17
7. Lead the cable through the inner grommet in the junction
box.
FIG. 18
8. Connect the cable to the terminals as shown by the
markings. Replace the stress reliever when the cable is
connected. The wires must be connected to the terminals
as follows: neutral wire to
N
, live wire to
L
and earth wire to
terminal marked
.
FIG. 19
WARNING!
Incorrect connection can cause malfunctioning or damage the
pump.
9. Tighten the stress reliever screw.
FIG. 20
10. Replace the inner metal lid on the junction box.
