INSTALLATION
1.
Position the transformer in a suitable place for the installation. The transformer can be
put outdoors.
2.
Route the low voltage cable as per planned positioning of the lights.
3.
Remove the glass globes by undoing the three screws under the bulb housing.
4.
Put the light sources in the lights. Do not touch the light sources with bare hands. If your
fingers touch the light sources, wipe the light sources with denatured alcohol before use.
5.
Replace the globes and tighten the screws.
6.
Press the ground spikes with the lights into the ground. If the ground is hard, use a crowbar
to make a hole first.
7.
Connect the cables to the lights to the low voltage cable. Tighten as firmly as possible so that
the connectors are waterproof.
8.
If necessary the low voltage cable can be buried underground in a shallow ditch. Make sure
that the cable is not cut, or otherwise damaged.
9.
Connect the low voltage cable to the transformer and tighten as firmly as possible so that the
connector is waterproof.
10.
Connect the transformer to the mains. All the lights should now go on. If not, disconnect the
transformer from the mains. Check all connections and the light sources.
