Weekly cleaning
1. Switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2. Empty the water container.
3. Scrub the inside of the container with hot water and washing-up liquid and rinse several times with
hot water.
4. Clean the outside of the container with a soft, dry cloth.
5. Release the air filter from the holder (see diagram) and rinse with hot tap water. Wait until it is
completely dry.
6. Replace the air filter and water container.
7. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
Storage
1. If the appliance is not going to be used for a week or more, carry out weekly cleaning.
2. Allow all parts to become completely dry.
3. Wind up the power cord on the holder.
4. Never put the appliance away with a contaminated air filter and/or with water in the container.
5. Store the appliance upright in a cool and dry place.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible cause Action
The appliance is not working.
The appliance is not switched on. Switch on the appliance.
The power cord is not plugged in. Plug in the power cord.
The mains outlet is not supplied
with voltage. Check the fuses, or contact an
authorised electrician.
The water container is full
(indicator light is on). Empty the water container.
The water container has not been
properly inserted. Insert the water container
properly.
The room temperature is too low. The defrost function has been
activated on the appliance. The
appliance will start when the
defrosting is finished.
The air is not dehumidifying
properly. The air filter is blocked. Clean the filter according to the
instructions.
Doors, windows etc. have not
been closed. Close windows and doors.
The room temperature is too low. The defrost function has been

properly. Check that the air inlet and outlet
are not blocked. Make sure that none of the
openings are blocked.
The room is too big. This is quite normal.
