SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the operating instructions carefully before use.

Save them for future reference.

•

Check that the stove fan handle is in the vertical position before putting it on
the stove.

•

The stove fan gets hot when in use – risk of burn injuries. Always use the
handle to move the fan.

•

Never attempt to cool the fan quickly, for example by immersing it in water –
this will damage the fan.

USE

Description

•

The stove fan does not run on the mains or batteries; it uses the heat from the stove and does
not make any noise.

•

A bimetallic strip in the foot lifts the fan from the surface if the surface temperature gets too hot,
to prevent it being damaged and allowing it to continue working.

•

The special design makes the fan both stable and silent.

Intended use

•

The stove fan is intended to be used on top of freestanding stoves with a normal surface temperature
of 200–345°C to save fuel and enable the efficient distribution of heat in the room.

•

Temperatures over 345°C can damage the fan. If the temperature exceeds 345°C, move the fan
to a place on the stove with a lower temperature. Use a thermometer. The warranty does not
cover damage caused by overheating.

Positioning

•

Place the stove fan on top of the stove in such a way that cool air is drawn
over the cooling fins.

•

Do not place the fan on the front of the stove or immediately in front of
the chimney.
