Introduction
These instructions are intended to assist you with the use and maintenance of the
accessory stand. It is important that these instructions are read thoroughly before using
the equipment. The device will be adversely affected and its life expectancy reduced if
the following instructions are not observed.
NOTE: If the accessory stand is damaged or faulty it must be taken out of use with
immediate effect and the fault reported to Anetic Aid, your authorised dealer or
maintenance department. The accessory stand must not be used until the damage or
fault has been repaired.

Warnings & Cautions
Various warnings and cautions are made throughout these operating instructions.
A WARNING is given when the personal safety of the patient or user may be
affected and when disregarding this information could result in injury.
A CAUTION is given when special instructions must be followed. Disregarding
this information could result in permanent damage being caused to the stand.
1.2.
Intended Use & Contraindications
The accessory stand is intended for use within a theatre environment for the storage
and easy accessibility of operating theatre accessories and specific QA4 day surgery
stand items.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

The accessory stand should not be used as a walking aid.

The accessory stand should not be used outside; it may be damaged by pushing it
across rough or uneven ground.

Equipment Classification
The equipment referenced in this document is CE marked and has been classified as a
Class 1 Medical Device under the scope of both the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC
and the Medical Device Regulation 2017/745.
1.4.
Assembling the Accessory Stand and Putting it into Use
The following list of parts has been supplied to build the accessory stand;
1 x Main Frame Assembly
1 x Base Assembly
1 x Storage Trough
2 x Lithotomy Stirrup Mounting Hooks
8 x M8 x 20mm Button Head Fixings
4 x Fixing Cover Caps
1 x Assembly Tool (5mm Allen Key)
Follow these step to assemble the accessory stand, refer to fig. 1;
STEP (1): Insert the main frame into the base making sure to orientate it correctly.
STEP (2): Using the Allen key provided, insert and firmly tighten 4 x M8 x 20mm fixings
to secure the main frame to the base.
STEP (3): Insert the 4 x fixing cover caps into the base to cover the fixing holes.
STEP (4): Attach the 2 x Lithotomy Stirrup Mounting Hooks onto the main frame using
4 x M8 x 20mm fixings.
