Frothing Milk / Making Cappuccino
A cappuccino is made by preparing a shot of espresso coffee and adding 100mls of
milk frothed and heated separately by the steam wand.
Be aware that the volume of milk increases by a factor of 2 when frothed.
Use full fat or semi
-
skimmed milk. Skimmed milk will result in poor frothing results.
Select an appropriate stainless steel milk container with a handle to keep hands
away from the steam nozzle (K).
Warning:
The following operation produces steam that can burn or scald.
Note:
The pump must be operated to prime the water heater.
