Rice
Please note for Basmati rice, we recom-
mend manually cooking rice on the bottom
tier for 25 minutes, middle tier for 30
minutes and top tier for 35 minutes.
Please use a ratio of 1 cup of rice to 2 cups
of water.
Cleaning and maintenance
•
Always disconnect the appliances plug
and allow it cool before cleaning it.
•
To clean the upper lid and the steam
bowl, use hot soapy water and a soft
cloth. Do not use abrasive materials to
clean the appliance.
•
Clean the base with a dry cloth, do not
immerse the base of the appliance in
water or any liquid for any reason.
•
Always use soapy water and a clean
cloth to clean the steamer container
and the lid.
•
Empty the reservoir before cleaning.
Wash with a damp cloth and dry.
•
Store the appliance in a clean dry place,
preferably in its original packaging.
Recipes
Jerk Chicken
Ingredients
1 chicken breast
2tsp Soy Sauce
1/2tsp Jerk seasoning
Method
1.
Marinade the chicken in a mixture of
jerk season and soy sauce for half an
hour.
2.
Wrap the marinated chicken in grease-
proof paper and place it in a steamer
tray.
3.
Steam for 18 minutes.
Teriyaki and Ginger Salmon
Ingredients
1 Salmon fillet
1 thumb ginger
1/2tsp Garlic paste
25ml
Teriyaki sauce
Method
1.
Marinade the salmon in the Teriyaki
sauce and grated, fresh ginger for 30
minutes.
2.
Wrap it greaseproof paper and steam
using the fish present.
3.
Combine the salmon with chopped
parsnip, seasoned with salt, pepper,
rosemary and thyme and steamed on
the same setting at the same time as
the fish.
