My stacked bales are falling down # 005

Potential reasons
Solutions
Lack of « stairs »
for holding the
higher stacks.
It is important when you start, to build up smaller
stack at the beginning, and slowly leaning the higher
stacks against the smallest. Those stairs design will
help your bales remaining in their position
Bales are low in
density
Adjust your square baler properly and use at
it’s
best
the compaction it could provide. It will end-up with
more weight per bale, less bales to transport, less
bales to stacked. This is all saving.
Soft and/or
inclinated ground
angle
Find a flat area where you can securely start building
your stairs and be happy.
Improper
unloading process
-
When your done lifting the unloading platform at
90 degree, you could push again to push the
unloading platform beyond 90 degree, up to 95
degree. This will naturally lean the bale towards
the exstings stacks for better support.
-
We recommend also, when platform has been tilt
from 90 to 95 degree, to use the traction of your
tractor to back it up against the stacks, to make it
even more nice and tight.
