AXCESS Programming
Overview
The AXP-CCV and AXM-CCV pushbuttons are programmed individually or in any
combination as single devices or in a group arrangement. Figure 21 shows the
channel (push) pushbutton arrangement on the AXP-CCV and AXM-CCV camera
centers.
AXCESS Software
The AXCESS software is meant to be loaded into an AXB-EM232. This software
typically does not require any modification if these guidelines are followed. Any
combination of up to six Stealth or AXB-CAM devices can be connected to AXlink at
addresses 90 - 95.
The panels supported are only one AXP-CCS, AXM-CCS, or AXP-CCV. These
devices must be set up as: AI8 (for any one of the AXP-CCS, AXM-CCS, AXP-CCV)
at #129, CPI for AXP-CCS at #130, CPI for AXM-CCS at #131, and CPI for AXP-CCV
at #128. If multiple panels are needed, this will require custom code.
The AXP-CCV is mapped channel-by-channel as is the AXP-CCS. The CCV has
additional buttons/pages for remote diagnostics, local diagnostics, and the rest of
the setup.
The MODE button acts as a multiplier of both the number of cameras and the
number of presets (when there are less than six cameras). The AXCESS block of code
provided by AMX supports 6 cameras with 24 presets; see Figure 24 for an example
of the presets.
The MODE button has two different functions: it selects either multiple camera
modes to select cameras 1 - 6, or it selects multiple preset mode for presets 1 - 24. If
its “auto-mode detection” finds a camera ID at or above camera 7, it enters multiple
camera mode automatically. Otherwise, multiple preset mode is used.
