Use smoke alarm detection
1.
Press and hold
SMOKE
/

button, the
LED is turned on
and smoke alarm detection is activated. Once the
microphone of your clock receives the alert sound of a
smoke alarm, the
LED flashes and your clock will alert
you by:
• Flashing “AL” display
• Alarm sound (depends on the alram volume setting)
• HI brightness of flashing LED
• Shaker vibration (a shaker is not provided).
2.
To stop the above 1-4 alarms, press
SMOKE
/
▲
button
once.
LED remains static.
Caution
: the smoke alarm
detection is effective 2.5 to 3
meters down from the smoke
alarm device. It does not cover a
larger area nor being effective
across the room.
Check from time to time if there is any debris in the microphone
opening. Clean it with a soft brush if need.
