7. 

INSTALLING THE BRIGADE BOARD (SGD type II ) 

 

The Brigade Board interfaces to a Line Transmitter to facilitate monitoring by a Fire Brigade or 
monitoring service. It can be supplied installed or in fast fit kit form which contains all the necessary 
parts for installation. Fitting the board is a simple procedure as detailed and illustrated below. 
 
1. 

Turn off power and disconnect the battery. 

 
2. 

Fit door switch bracket assembly to top right corner of cabinet with M3 screws supplied. 

 
2. 

Fit four nylon standoffs onto 302 - 665B. 

 
4. 

Remove the jumper link from CN3 and fit the six-way cable. 

 
5. 

Remove the left bottom screw of 302 - 665B and install the earth cable as shown below. 

 
6. 

Fit 302 - 678 onto nylon standoffs as shown below. 

 
6. 

Connect the six-way cable to CN2 of 302 - 678 and the two-way cable to CN1. 

 
8. 

Terminate Line Transmitter ( LTX ) cables to 302 - 678. 

 
9. 

Set the K1 links to the assigned address. 

 
10. 

Switch power on to NZ100 and connect battery. 

 

11.

 

Test the monitoring in accordance with the LTX SDG Input Interface Specifications. 

 

Note:

 

When the SGD is ordered with the panel, the SGD will be fitted and programmed prior to delivery. 

 

Fit 25mm nylon
standoffs into 
302 665B board.
Then fit 302 678 
board to standoffs.

Fit door switch bracket
with M3 screws.

Fit 6 way cable from CN3 of the
302 - 665B to CN2 302 - 6780

Fit 2 Way cable to door switch.

Fit earth wire
from 302 678
to under screw
of 302 665B.
