SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Important! To minimize the risk of fire, electric
shock or injury:
l
Carefully read this instruction before using the ap -
pliance.
l
Children do not realize the dangers that can arise
when using electrical appliances, therefore keep the
appliance out of reach of children.
l
Do not immerse the body of the appliance in water or
other liquids. Immersing in water may cause an electric
shock.
l
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in
the off-position before connecting to battery pack, pic -
king up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the applian -
ce with your finger on the switch or energizing applian -
ce that has the switch on invites accidents.
l
Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of
damage to the power cord, or if the appliance has been
dropped on the floor.
l
Do not touch nozzle when the vacuum cleaner is on.
l
Do not put any object into openings.
l
Do not use with any openings blocked; keep free of
dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow.
l
Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing.
l
Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
l
Do not expose the appliance to rain or humidity, and
do not use it outdoors. Do not operate the appliance
with wet hands.
l
Do not operate the vacuum cleaner or charger if it has
been damaged in any way.
l
Never place the appliance on hot surfaces.
l
If vacuum cleaner is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water,
call the Customer Service.
l
To avoid excessive heat and damage to the unit or bat -
tery, the vacuum cleaner will not operate while charging.
