Temperature limit *
The internal chemical reaction of the battery leads to an increase in temperature. When the temperature limit is
reached, the process is aborted.
* This function is available when an optional temperature sensor is connected that is not included.
Limitation of the processing time:
You can also limit the maximum processing time to avoid a possible defect.
LITHIUM BATTERY CONNECTION DIAGRAM
The AMC60 charger is equipped with an integrated switching power supply. You can connect the mains cable directly to
the mains socket (100-240V AC).
PLEASE NOTE:
The charger MUST be switched on before you connect a battery to the charger. If the charger is not switched on before
you connect a battery, the charger may fail if the connections are not correct. The charger must be switched on to
detect an incorrect connection and warn you before you can go too far and cause damage. If you receive the Reverse
Polarity warning, you MUST disconnect the battery immediately! Never disconnect the charger from the power supply
first.
Before connecting a battery, be sure to check one last time that you have set the charging parameters correctly. If the
settings are incorrect, the battery can be damaged and could even burst into flames or explode. Make sure that the
connection from the charger to the battery is correctly polarised, check this again for safety.
To avoid short-circuiting the battery, always connect the charging cables to the charger first and then to the battery.
Always disconnect the battery from the charging cables first when charging is finished. Never disconnect the cables
from the charger when a battery is connected to it.
BALANCE-SOCKET:
The balance cable attached to the battery must be connected to the charger so that the black cable is aligned with the
negative marking. Pay attention to the correct polarity! (See connection diagram on the next page).
