2.6 AmeriWater Warranty
AmeriWater warrants the Product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship . The
warranty period shall not exceed (a) twelve (12) months from the date of startup (b) eighteen (18)
months from the date of shipment , whichever occurs first . AmeriWater’s obligation under this
warranty is limited to repair or replacement of any part or parts found to be defective. AmeriWater
shall not be required to incur expenses for labor outside of the place(s) of business of AmeriWater,
nor travel expenses to fulfill its obligations hereunder. AmeriWater neither assumes nor authorizes
any person to assume for it, any other liability in connection with the sale of Products.
This warranty shall not apply to any Product that has been subjected to abuse, misuse, alteration,
neglect, or accident, nor to any Product that has been damaged as a result of any unusual force of
nature such as flood, hurricane, tornado, or earthquake. All implied warranties, including any
implied warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed to the
extent they extend beyond the above periods.
