-Attach the J-channel to the gable chord at both ends of the shelter using #12 x 1-1/4" HWH #5 Tek screws at 24" on center.
-Position the gable fill panels in the J-channel with the backs agains the flat side of the rafters. Attach the panels to the
J-channel using #8 x 3/4" HWH #2 Tek screws at each rib. Attach to the rafters using #12 x 1-1/4" HWH #5 Tek screws at
each valley. (See Fig. 3-1)
-Position the first roof panel on either side of the shelter so that the edge is flush with the end of the ridge cap. Attach the panel
to the ridge cap using (2) #8 x 3/4" HWH #2 Tek screws at 8" on center. Attach to the side end purlin using #12 x 1-1/4" HWH
#5 Tek screws at 8" on center. (See Figs. 3-2 & 3-3)
-Position the next roof panel so that the ends are flush with the previous panel. Snap the lock of the panels and attach as before.
Repeat for all roof panels. Holding a spare 2x4 board under the lock and tapping with a rubber mallet may help snap the locks.
-Once all roof panels are installed, position the gutter at the end of the panels and attach using (2) #8 x 3/4" HWH #2 Tek screws
at 8" on center as shown in Fig. 3-4.
