-Layout footings according to the plans provided. Pour and reinforce concrete to satisfy local building codes.
Anchor bolts are not included and must be furnished at the time of installation. Consult local building codes for requirements.
-Anchor (2) base angles at each post location according to the plans provided. Attach a post to each pair of base angles using
(2) 5/8" x 5-1/2" bolts as shown in Fig. 1-1.
NOTE: The set of posts at both ends of the shelter should have the gable chord holes facing OUT.
-Attach an angle bracket at both ends of each gable chord using (2) 5/8" x 1-1/2" bolts per bracket. The attach the a gable chord
to each set set of posts using (4) 5/8" x 1-1/2" bolts per post (see Figs. 1-2 & 1-3). Attach the nuts by reaching into the post.
-Attach a side end purlin to the posts along the length of the shelter on both sides. Place (2) angle brackets on the inner face of
the purlin and attach to each post using (4) 5/8" x 5-1/2" bolts as shown in Fig. 1-4.
