MAINTAINING THE SCRUB DECK BRUSHES
Locate the Side Guard Latch on the (operator’s) right side of the machine. Facing the side guard, push the latch to the right to release and open
the guard.
Locate the Cover Plate on the scrub deck; loosen the knobs holding the plate in place by turning counterclockwise, then remove the cover.
Firmly grasping one of the brushes, remove it for inspection * . Check
the brushes for wear and
damage. Remove any entangled debris. Turn the brush end-to-
end, line up knotches, and reinsert. Repeat with the second brush.
NOTE:
Rotating brushes will extend the life of the brush.
Brushes should be replaced when bristles are worn to 3/4-inch
length. (See scrub brush options in this chapter).
Reattach cover and close side guard.
*The manufacturer recommends using handprotection.
