MP168 Video Switcher/Controller System

Do not install this product in hazardous

The MP168 Matrix Switcher/Controller Bay is 
designed for rack mounting in a standard 19-inch 
Electronics Industry Association (EIA) electronic rack 
(one rack unit wide).  The bay has a height of five rack 
units.   

 

 
 

 

For proper ventilation and ease of service, allow a 
minimum of 1 meter (3 feet) between both the front and 
rear of the rack to any wall.  It is the responsibility of 
the installer to ensure proper airflow around the bay to 
provide adequate ventilation. 

Two mounting ears (one for each side) are included 
with the MP168 Bay for mounting to a rack assembly 
(see Figure 2-1). 
 
Each mounting ear is first attached to the bay with the 
three bolts provided with the unit.  The bay is then 
inserted into the rack assembly and secured with three 
bolts (not provided) between the bay and the rack 
assembly.
