3.2 Functional Description

Dispense
The machine can only dispense coins.
2.
Payment
The machine accepts payment in the form of paper currency only.
3.
Sleep/Wake
Mode
After initialization, the machine enters “Sleep” mode. This is to
conserve power. The machine will exit “Sleep” mode when one of the 3
buttons located under the LCD display are pressed or when a bill is
inserted into the bill validator. When one of the buttons is pressed the
LCD display will turn on. When a bill is inserted the LCD display will not
turn on. This is intended to conserve power.
3.3 – Programming Menu
To enter the programming menu, begin by pressing the “Select” button on the 12V Universal main logic
board. Refer to Figure 5.
Use the “Up ” and “Down ” buttons to navigate through the menus. Scroll down to “Exit” and
press the “Select” button to exit the programming menu.
Bill
Create a bill table by inputting values per number of pulses to represent bills.
Payout
Set what the machine is to dispense.
Hoppers
Select between ccTalk, Comp, or Comp+.
Note: This is configured from the factory and should not be
changed unless directed by an American Changer representative. If set incorrectly the machine will
not dispense coins properly.
Validator
Select which model validator is being used
. Note: This is configured from the factory and should not be
changed unless directed by an American Changer representative. If set incorrectly the machine will
accept bills and not increase the bill count on the LCD display and will cause the machine to not
dispense coins.
Dump
Runs the coin hopper continuously (dump) until all of the coins are dispensed.
Exit
Exit the programming menu.
