Before You Begin

Before you begin installing your new ATI FireMV 2400/ATI FirePro 2450 graphics

card, please perform the following tasks.

Graphics Card Bus Types

Your graphics card connects to the motherboard through a bus slot, the most

common types of which are shown in the following figure:

Make sure you have an available bus slot on your motherboard for the type of

ATI FireMV/ATI FirePro graphics card you have purchased before beginning

your installation.
