16  Trouble shooting checklist

Ensure Gas and Electricity 

supplies are enabled.

If heater still fails to operate 

normally please contact

1.  Wiring harness and plugs.
2.  Operation of vacuum switch.
3.  Replace fan.

C h e c k

1.  Burner controller.
2.  Wiring harness.
3.  Orange neon.

C h e c k

1.  Integrity of spark leads.
2.  Integrity of electrode 

assembly and spark gap.

3.  Burner controller.

C h e c k

1.  Burner inlet pressure.
2.  Burner nozzle pressure.
3.  Check live and neutral polarity

and a good earth is present.

1.  Check vacuum switch tubes.
2.  Check emitter tubes, air inlet 

and the flue is not 
o b s t r u c t e d .

3.  Check operation of vacuum 

s w i t c h .

4.  Replace fan.
