− Never operate the food processor with the air openings
blocked or while on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch,
where it is possible for the air openings to be blocked.
Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and similar objects.
− Use only the original and provided accessories of the food
processor. The use of attachments not recommended or
sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or
injury.
− The food processor has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the
proper outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way.
− SHORT CORD PURPOSE: A short power cord is provided to
reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
− Longer power-supply cords or extension cords are
available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If an extension cord is used: (1) the marked electrical
rating of the extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension
cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the countertop or tabletop where it can unintentionally
be pulled on or tripped over by children or pets; (3) If
the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or
extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled

capacities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g.
older children).
− The food processor can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the food
