Grilling food on one side
1. Make sure that the temperature control dial

is set to “OFF” (see
fig. A
).
2. Insert the power plug in an easily accessible socket.
The operating control light

will illuminate in red.
3. If necessary, release the lock on the device lid

by pulling the release
slider

to the front.
4. Make sure that the fat drip tray

is installed (see
fig. D

5. Use the handle

to flip the device lid all the way up until it is at a 90°
angle.
6. Hold the device lid by the handle and at the same time, push the 180°
button

7. Hold the 180° button down and flip the device lid up until the top and
bottom grill plate are level within one another (see
fig. B
).
8. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired position.
“LOW”:

“MED”:

“MAX”:

The heat indicator light

will illuminate in green.
9. Coat the top

and bottom grill plate

with a small amount of butter,
margarine or vegetable oil for cooking at high temperatures.
10. Once the green heat indicator light has gone out, lay the food you intend to
grill on the grill plates.
11. Use a heat-resistant, but non-metallic cooking utensil to flip the food you
intend to grill.
12. Once the food you intend to grill has been cooked to your liking, use a
heat-resistant, but non-metallic cooking utensil to remove it.
13. Turn the temperature control dial to “OFF”.
14. Pull the power plug out of the socket.
