Other maintenance
• Regularly check and maintain the oil level.
• Check the ram every 3 months for any rust or corrosion. Clean as
needed and wipe with an oil cloth.
• Keep the rating label clean and readable at all time. Stop using the
product if label is not readable or if it is detached.
• Necessary repairs or modification should be made by manufacturer’s
or supplier’s authorized repair facility.
Oil disposal
• Dispose of hydraulic oil, residue and the empty container in
accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. It
is illegal to dump waste oil into landfill or waterways. Disposing of
used hydraulic oil the incorrect manner has the potential to pollute the
environment.
Storage
• Always store the product in the fully lowered position.
• If the product is stored outdoors, lubricate all parts before and after
use to ensure the product stays in good working condition.
• For long term storage drain the hydraulic oil.
