REMOVING THE LID SWITCH

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Remove the console and position it back

out of the way (see page 4-2 for the pro-

cedure).

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before

operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or

electrical shock.

WARNING

3. Lift the locking tab, and disconnect the

main harness from the lid switch connec-

tor (see the top right photo).

4. Remove the 5/16

˝

hex-head screw from

the green ground wire on the lid switch.

5. Lift the washer lid so it is straight up.
6. Release the locking tab and pull the

lid switch up and out of the cabinet top

opening.
