ADVANCED APPLICATION
1. Bounce Flash
• To soften shadows behind your subject aim the flash head toward a ceiling or
wall. By bouncing the flash off the surface you will capture a more natural
looking photograph.
• If the photograph is not bright enough, then the ceiling or wall might be too
far away. If this happens try using a larger aperture opening ( smaller number ).
• If the wall or ceiling are not plain white then you will get a color cast on your
photograph.
2. Bounce Card
• The bounce card allows you to reflect light in a person’s eyes and create a
more vivid expression.
