5. Slide switch SW1 to the ON position on models ALTV244220 and ALTV244CB220 (Fig. 1, pg. 4).
Turn main switch on all other models to the “RESET” (ON) position (Figs. 2, 3, pgs. 5, 6).
6. Measure output voltage before connecting devices. This helps avoiding potential damage.
CAUTION: Determine the maximum operating voltage of the equipment being powered before
adjusting the output voltage.
7. Slide switch SW1 to the OFF position on models ALTV244220 and ALTV244CB220 (Fig. 1, pg. 4).
Turn main switch on all other models to the OFF position (Figs. 2, 3, pgs. 5, 6).
8. Connect devices to the terminals marked [1P - 1N] through [4P - 4N] on PD4/PD4CB board, carefully
observing correct polarity (Figs. 1 - 3, pgs. 4 - 6).
9. Slide switch SW1 to ON position on models ALTV244 and ALTV244CB (Fig. 1, pg. 4).
Turn main switch on all other models to the “RESET” (ON) position (Figs. 2, 3, pgs. 5, 6).
10. Green LED will illuminate when unit is powered.
11. Upon completion of the wiring, secure enclosure door with screws (supplied).
CAUTION: Equipment to be installed / serviced by authorized / trained personnel only.
Shut branch circuit power before installing / servicing equipment.
Troubleshooting:
1. Blown fuse (ALTV244220, ALTV244175220, ALTV244300220) - Set ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
Replace the blown fuse(s) with fuse(s) rated @ 3.5A/250VA (Altronix model # Fuse1).
2. Tripped PTC (ALTV244CB220, ALTV244175CB220, ALTV244300CB220) - To reset PTC set ON/OFF
switch to the OFF position. After approximately 30 secs. set ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
This installation should be made by qualified service personnel and should conform to the National
Electrical Code and all local codes.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user
to the presence of an insulated DANGEROUS VOLTAGE within the product’s enclosure that may
be of sufficient magnitude to constitute an electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying
the appliance.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock do not open
enclosure. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing
to qualified service personnel.
