A bank of The Game of Life™ machines comes with two

different types of top glasses.

Type 1

Type 2

These two types of top glasses have to be installed

alternating

, as shown in the figure below. It does not

matter whether the row starts with type 1 or type 2,

as long as two top glasses of the same type are not

installed side by side.
