INSTALLATION 

SI-MAX is provided exclusively for indoor use. It 
is installed to a vertical wall and flat surface 
greater than that of its body, leaving at least 2 
cm on each side. Drill the mounting holes along 
the drilling template. Fix the chassis of the SI-
MAX using 4 screws round head diameter of 4 to 
5 mm (not supplied). Use a screw 4 to 5 mm in 
diameter (not supplied) for the tamper against 
forced opening and set it as shown above-cons 
without pushing on the electronic card. 
It is imperative to conduct tests and verify the 
proper operation of the alarm’s sound and of the 
auto-protection after the installation. 

 

 It is strongly recommended to periodically check the proper tightening of connections 
and the condition of the internal battery and replace it if necessary 

 

SAFETY 

  During the test, wear a hearing protective helmet or hold you at a reasonable 

distance of the SI-MAX. 

  Avoid any intervention on the SI-MAX by stormy weather. 

  Use only the type of the batteries indicated on the specifications table  

 

Destruction of the batteries 

The battery backup of the SIMAX is not provided by ATLS. However, do not dispose of 
batteries in your trash, it is forbidden to cremate, bury them or throw them into 
landfills. Dispose batteries according to the current laws and regulations.Please contact 
relevant authorities for further information on the arrangements put in place in your 
region to collect, recycle and dispose of used batteries. 
 

 

Destruction of the product 

As required by the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), 
electrical and electronic equipment must be disposed separately from normal 
household garbage to promote the reuse, recycling and other forms of 
recovery, as well as limit the amount of waste requiring disposal and thereby 
reduce the landfill. When disposing of such products, please follow the 
instructions of local authorities and / or check with your dealer when 

purchasing a new product. 

 

 
 
 

WARRANTY 

ATLS provides a guarantee of 5 years from the date of the manufacture. 
The year and month of manufacture appear on the label serial number 
placed inside the device. 
The warranty does not cover non-functional damage such as scratches, 
broken by a fall or shock or degradation caused by abnormal use. 

The guarantee applies only to cards and electronic assemblies and does not cover 
damage caused by natural or artificial surges. 
The guarantee applies only if the electronic part has not been dismantled, disturbed or 
transformed. 
The warranty is strictly limited to repair or exchange parts that we found defective. 
Return costs are still borne by the sender. 
The detention of equipment under warranty won’t give rise to any compensation for any 
reason whatsoever. 
The responsibility of A.T.L.S. is limited to the repair of products and do not extend to the 
consequences of their use, their implementation or their non-functioning.
