The inAir 5000 LED is a helpful tool. Here’s what it means:

Flashing Blue

Before we begin.

• You need a Wi-Fi network to proceed.

• Make sure iTunes (10.1 or later) is running on your computer.

• Have your Wi-Fi network name and password ready for reference

Connect your devices.

• Disconnect any Ethernet or power cables on your inAir 5000.

• Reconnect the power cable to your inAir 5000 and power it ON.

• Wait for the LED on the player to start fl ashing purple. (About 30 seconds)

•  Press the “Wi-Fi Connect” button on the back of your device. The LED will 

begin to fl ash orange.

•  Go to your system’s Wi-Fi settings and select “inAir-Setup’. You will be 

temporarily disconnected from your home network.

•  The LED will change to solid blue. This confi rms that you have entered 

“inAir-Setup.”

Setting up your inAir 5000 remote.

• In iTunes, go to preferences and select ‘devices’.

•  Select the check box for ‘allow iTunes audio control from 

remote speakers’.

•  Look for the AirPlay icon 

 at the bottom right of iTunes, 

click and select your inAir 5000.

RECOMMENDED SETUP

If the LED begins to fl ash purple, there is a problem connecting to your home network. Usually this is caused by 
an incorrect password. Follow these easy steps.

•  Press the “Wi-Fi Connect” button, located on the back of your device.

•  Wait for LED to start fl ashing orange. 

•  Starting from Step 2, go to your system’s Wi-Fi setting and select “in Air- Setup” 

• Repeat the steps as instructed.
