Ammeter indicates zero:

Electrical loads . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . reduce to minimum
Alternator switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . off
Alternator switch (after off for at least 1 second). . . . . . . . . . . . . . .on
If power is not restored:
