Switching the Navigation Screen
(Optional)
If an optional Alpine Navigation System is connected to the
IVA-W520E, the Navigation screen can be displayed on this unit.

The SOURCE selection screen is displayed.

The Navigation screen is displayed.
The operation is possible with the supplied navigation
remote control.
For navigation operation, refer to the Owner’s Manual of the
navigator.
•
If “MAP” is set in “Setting the OPTION Button on the Unit”
(page 32), the navigation map screen can be recalled directly by
pressing
(OPTION)
.
•
If the Navigation mode menu is not displayed on the main menu
screen, select ON in “Setting the Navigation Mode” (page 31).
•
When the Navigation System is on and in guidance mode, the voice
prompts and navigation map interrupts the current audio source.
Operating Auxiliary Devices (Optional)
To operate your devices connected to the AUX terminals on the rear
panel of IVA-W520E (AUX mode) or to the BLUETOOTH Interface
connector by using an optional Conversion cable (KCE-237B)
(AUX+ mode), follow the procedure described below.
•
If you try to activate the auxiliary device while driving, the display will
show the warning-Picture off for your safety.

If the AUX mode is not displayed on the main menu, set AUX IN to
ON by following “Setting the AUX Mode” (page 31).

If the AUX+ source is not displayed on the main menu, set AUX+ IN
to ON by following “Setting the AUX+ Mode” (page 32).

The display mode changes by touching
[WIDE]
for AUX mode.
For operation, refer to “Switching Display Modes” on page 23.

After connecting the KCA-410C, its AUX input can be used only in
INTERRUPT MODE. For details, refer to the KCA-410C Owner’s
Manual.

WARNING
It is dangerous (and illegal in many states) for the
driver to watch the Video while driving the vehicle.
The driver may be distracted from looking ahead and
an accident could occur.
Install the IVA-W520E correctly so that the driver
cannot watch Video unless the vehicle is stopped and
the emergency brake is applied.
If the IVA-W520E is not installed correctly, the driver
will be able to watch the Video while driving the
vehicle and may be distracted from looking ahead and
cause an accident. The driver or other people could
be severely injured.
