TYPE 2 :
Words are built up from left to right, a single character at a time.
When the display is full, it is cleared and the subsequent words are
displayed the same way until all words of the title have been
shown.
Scroll Setting (Text Scroll)
This CD player can scroll the disc and track names recorded on
CD-TEXT discs, as well as the text information of MP3/WMA/AAC
files, folder names, and tags.

The above information is scrolled only when a disc is loaded, a
channel or track is changed, etc.
Text Scroll Auto:
CD text information, folder and file names, and the tag
information are scrolled continuously.
Note
• In parts of the display, scrolling may not occur, or scroll content may
differ.
Switching the Character Font
Two types of font can be selected.
You can select the font type you like.

Switching the Animation Display Type (BGV

You can select your favourite animation display for background from 4
types.

Opening Message ON/OFF Setting
This unit includes a special message feature with various patterns, which
when enabled displays opening messages for certain occasions.
For example, when you turn this unit on December 25th (according to
the unit’s date setting), a Christmas greeting is displayed if the Opening
Message is set to ON.

Adjusting Source Signal Levels (FM Level)
If the difference in volume level between the CD player and FM radio is
too great, adjust the FM signal level.

Setting the TUNER (FM) tone quality
This unit can set your preferred tone quality for FM radio source.

Note
• Noise may be more noticeable when HiFi is set, depending on the
reception status. In this case, the Normal setting is recommended.
USB is selected on the setup main menu in step 2.
Setting the USB Search Mode
This unit allows searching MP3 Tag info or file names on USB Memory
devices. Only compatible audio files are displayed during the search.

When Tag is selected, you can use Playlists/Artists/Albums/Songs/
Genres/Composers/Folders/Files search mode to narrow searches.
File Name:
When File Name is selected, you can search a folder/file as search
files on PC.
Notes
• After the above setting, turn the ignition key off (ACC OFF) and on
again (ACC ON).
• For search mode details, refer to “Searching for a desired Song” on
page 33.
Setting the USB Skip function
During (FILE NAME) searching, you can skip over designated folders/
files by pressing and holding

for at least 2 seconds. For
example, if you select 10File in the (FILE NAME) searching mode, by
pressing and holding

you can skip forward 10 folders/files from the
current folder/file; by pressing and holding

you can skip backward
10 folders/files from the current folder/file. If the folders/files searched
are less than the assigned skipped-over ones, pressing and holding
1

will skip to the first or last folder/file.
